So thankful..

This is definitely the most wonderful time of year! I love Thanksgiving! Spending time together with family is something you can never get enough of. I have so many things that I should be doing today to get ready for tomorrow so this is going to be a short post.

I'm so blessed to have two healthy and happy boys in my life. Slade told me today that he was thankful for his family and heavenly father. I don't think it gets any sweeter than that. I'm thankful for a caring husband that works hard for his family everyday. I'm so thankful for my parents, to have them in my life and to have them living so close to us. I'm thankful for my sister and brother and their families. It's nice to know that I can always count on them when I need to. I'm so so thankful for both of our families. They are the best. Happy Thanksgiving!

"The Right Stuff"

Stop laughing, you know you loved New Kids On The Block too...when you were in middle school..lol! Yes, I went to the concert last weekend in Salt Lake. I went with my sister and two of her friends. That was probably the loudest concert I have ever been too. I'm thinking it was because more than half of the audience was girls and when they screamed it was very high pitched. My ears were ringing all night. I was very impressed by New Kids, they still had it! The dancing, singing, and making the girls still scream. Natasha Bedingfield opened for them and she was awesome! I love her music. My favorite was probably when New Kids sang their old songs. I could still remember the words. I even had Jordan Knight, the barbie doll when I was younger. Go New Kids On The Block...LOL! Thanks to my Sis, Jen , & Jen for a way fun night!

9 Years!

Yesterday was our nine year anniversary. WOW... how time flies. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful husband. He is truly my best friend.
The song that is playing (I do, cherish you) I know is sooo old, but it was the song at our wedding when I walked down the isle. And I still love it. The pics describe us well. We like to have fun and just be silly together!

Trick or Treat!

Mason and Slade

Mason, Braxton, Gage, and Slade

Halloween fun...

Last week was a busy but fun week! Monday we went to the corn maze. The boys had a lot of fun. Slade was our leader and I have to say he did a pretty good job finding our way out. Tuesday was our ward's Halloween party. We had dinner and played carnival games. Slade had his preschool Halloween party on Wed. and dressed up as a boney pirate! Every Halloween the boys love to carve pumpkins. So of course we carved pumpkins! They turned out to be some pretty scary looking pumpkins when they were done!

The grim reaper and a boney pirate!

Maui, HI Oct. 2008

Our trip to Maui was amazing! I took tons of pictures and still don't think I took enough. The scenery there was beautiful. We went on a hike up to a 380 foot waterfall. On the way up there we went through Bamboo that was thick and tall. It was awesome. We went parasailing, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, and to a wonderful Luau. I couldn't believe how clear the water was when we went snorkeling. There was so much stuff to see. We went to a snorkeling spot where there were huge turtles all around. On the fishing trip I was sick the whole time. I can officially say that I've been "sea sick" now. But it was pretty exciting when Joby caught a fish. And of course we spent some time on the beach. One of the best times was when me and Heidi laid out on the beach and watched Joby and Kevin trying to surf...lol. We had such a great trip and I'm hoping we'll get to go back again!
